Post shoot reflection

1. The challenges I faced while taking the 4 photos was adding photo composition to each one and thinking which should go which each topic.

2. While taking the photos I was mostly thinking about if the photo was focusing or not, because through the camera it looked somewhat blurry. So I was unsure if it was actually blurry or not, but when I checked them on the computer they didn't seem as blurry compared to them.

3. I found myself changing because when I found something that I think will fit the topic, I would just stand there in front of it thinking which composition I should use which took a while. So when I was actually taking the photo I found myself often adjusting to fit the composition.

4. I achieved rule of thirds, simplicity, and lines in my photos that I had took. I felt like I was taking to long to apply them so I thought of what first came to my mind or what I think would look best when applied to my photos. 1 rule of thirds (metal), 1 simplicity (bowie), and 2 lines photo (happy and square)

4. Yes because I feel like I can do better then I did this time. I will know not to rush if given a second chance and to have more rules to apply to in the photos if I take them.

5. The 3 prompts I think we should do at school are

  • Dark
  • Angry
  • Calming

  • I love how her photos seem simple but weren't at the same time. I especially loved the locker photo and how the background on the photo is blurred, so it only focuses on the locker itself. Also that it faded out with darkness towards the end of the hallway. Plus the lockers look never ending.
  • In her 'happy photo' I like how it shows the sky when everything else is dark surrounding the sky itself. The picture looks framed with the windows and the shadows in the photo, then the sky is just sticking out completely.
  • One thing I think could be improved is the lines photo that she has. If the turning point of the lines on the top part of the photo was cut out, I believe the photo would look much more appealing to the eye or to others in general.
