"We chose Jessie for student of the month because she has outstanding grades and is the baseball manager at school," principle Mark Robinson said.

She had gotten Student of the Month at James Bowie High School for staying on top of everything at James Bowie High School during the month of February till March. She had mentioned that due to having perfect attendance, she didn't have to worry about missing any school work which is why her grades are so high.

"Jessie was always on top of everything we gave her and we respect that about her, she deserved to be student of the month in my opinion," teacher Charles Robin said.

~~~~
During this six week period happening in February and March,  Jesse felt very confident with how everything was going for her at school and just in general since she had planned ahead of time.
