Sports Warm-Up

WARM-UP

Why is this part of a winning sports photography portfolio?
It's part of it because they are most likely celebrating their win, so they are dumping a water container on their coach.

What is the shutter speed?
The shutter speed must be very slow because your able to see the trail of the water which is hard to take pictures of.

Is this a key moment?
Most likely because its them celebrating, and we know this due to the first question mentioning that it is a part of a winning sports photography portfolio.

Could this have been planned?
No because the coach or referee doesn't seem to notice or show any clue of what is happening to him at that exact moment. Plus their is a giant crowd behind them so I doubt it. But I mean they came up with a plan to dump it on him without him knowing so yes and no. But no to it being staged/planned.

What advanced techniques are present in this photo?
Either fast paced shutter speed or very slow speed shutter speed making the water show its trails in the photo for a certain period of time. You can see each little droplet of water which most people can't usually get or else it would be a blur.
